Honestly, IDEK specifics of what the good Representative did, and I’m not one of his constituents. But that being said? I LIKE THE GUY. He has balls and actually believe in the shit he says.
Why don’t we cut the one-ring circus act and work on actually getting shit done? Whatever he has to work out is between him and his family. It’s enough that he’s embarrassed and has admitted wrongdoing. But there’s a hell of a lot more wrong with a system that allows profiteers to make a killing off the backs of innocent people both American and otherwise, than one man making a poor decision. In a time where everyone’s howling about the waste of money, how much more waste would there be in the process of conducting this ‘ethics review’ or whatever, recalling, and electing a new Representative?
Representative Weiner is not a paragon. He is human. We all make mistakes. That does NOT mean that he can’t do his job, just that he had a moment of poor judgement.
